Through the infared lens, Smarmy was able to see all the creatures who were down there with him. He saw birds, trees, squirrels, talking squirrels, talking trees, talking trees who threw apples at him, a little man in a chef's outfit and a big dragon. After adjusting the focus, however, he saw that there was actually just a big dragon and none of that other stuff. The dragon ate Smarmy.

The inside of the dragon brought about even more interesting things for Smarmy to tape. For within the dragon's stomach was a science lab, and it was operated by a short little scientist who introduced himself to Smarmy as "Herff."

"I'm Herff," said Herff.

"We've got to get out of here," said Smarmy.

"I know," replied Herff. "I've been down here for twenty years, and I've finally devised a way to get out of here. Now help me with this bazooka."
